Clean, comfortable and safe. 24 hour desk staff were friendly, professional and some spoke fluent English. Gym, across the street in the "Pacoche", was well equipped. City itself felt safe and was easily walkable. Ten to fifteen minutes amble to rail station and five minutes to local Mercadona. Bank/ATM across the street. Vending in hotel reasonably priced. 24 hour food/drink/fuel at the local CEPSA. €77-ish cab from Rock Imperium in Cartagena. Bizarrely, the Universal has a huge "PACOCHE" sign hanging off it. Would definitely book again if I could not get anything closer to the Rock Imperium venue. Exceptional value for money. I was in 49, an end-of-corridor-away-from-elevators room that overlooked the street below. (June 2023).

The room was clean and comfortable - nothing special but nothing was wrong with it. A private toilet was a big plus, also a small fridge in the room. But there is no common zone nor big kitchen so it remains to eat out or in the restaurant connected with the object. There was no problem with personnel. Localization wasn't that close to the city center but it was near a lovely park and church - and also the route to the center was picturesque and full of monuments, so it was an amazing occasion to sightsee.

The room was clean, we had two beds opposite to each other in a distance so no one disturbing the other. Bathroom had everything one needs -toiletries, towels, bathtub. Air con was nice regarding the temperature outside. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Good value for money.

Good location, ten minutes walk to railway station and ten minutes walk to the historic centre. 24 hour front desk. Friendly folk on desk. Comfy bed. On a side street with no traffic noise on my side of the hotel. Small ensuite bathroom a bonus. Good value all round.

The location was great. Near a beautiful park and just over the river to the centre of town. The room was quiet and cool despite the heat, very clean and confortable. Basic, but at that price I just want clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.
